Before we head into the weekend, I have some favorites from this week to share with you!
If you remember, I’ve talked about BeautyCounter before and you can find my review on it here. I ran out of my products a while back and decided to try creating my own regimen. I have spent the past month trying random products, not liking how my skin & makeup were looking and dealing with itchy and dry skin. I finally decided enough was enough and returned all of it and contacted my friend Carley who sells BeautyCounter. She was so sweet to lend me all the new products to try! I feel SO much better already. My skin is better, I feel like I’m getting a spa day each morning and I love knowing that I’m using SAFE products. I am going to do another post on my new beauty routine once my new products come in but I will tell you that this cleansing balm might be my new favorite thing. It works as a makeup remover, face wash and moisturizer or mask all in one! Love it. If you’re interested in their products, check out Carley’s page here.
This. Just this. If you have a dream, go for it. Life is so short & we spend way too much time telling ourselves what we can’t do instead of what we can. I have had a huge revelation over the past few weeks of exactly what my dreams are and what I want to achieve. I have spent lots of hours laying out my goals and what I want my life to look like in 10 years and I’m currently working on a plan to get there. Be passionate and go after what you want.
If you didn’t catch my What’s Up Wednesday post this week, I discussed my newfound love for T25 & my stepper! I am obsessed with both. I’ve been doing my T25 videos in the morning before work and then following it up with an additional 30 minutes or so on my stepper while watching something off my DVR. I don’t watch Scandal or my serious shows, more like Reba or Real Housewives. Sometimes I watch the news but I try to keep my mornings light (I have the news on 8 hours a day at work so I can put that negativity off til 8 😉 ). T25 is kicking my butt but in the best way and walking on my stepper helps me get closer to my 10,000 step goal each day. I like to walk on my stepper again at night after we eat dinner so I can walk it off a little bit. I hate the feeling of eating a meal and then just sitting. I highly recommend both of these!
Side note: I’m going to be posting health and wellness updates every few weeks to track my Weight Watchers & T25 results. I’ll share my reviews of both programs, favorite meals, snacks, tips, etc. If you have any specific questions about either let me know and I’ll answer them in my posts!
Yes!!! I am all about simplifying my life right now. I am taking stock of everything I do and figuring out what I love and what I don’t. I am going to focus this next month on eliminating excess. Excess stuff around the house, in our drawers, in our lives. I talked up above about going after your dreams. I personally cannot focus or work on anything when I have a lot of clutter in my house or mind. I’m going to work on developing the best routines for me, streamlining my activities and work and simplifying things around our house. I have developed a 30 day spring cleaning challenge of sorts for our house and for me for the month of April. If you all are interested in doing it with me let me know! I’m thinking about posting my challenge for the day on instastories first thing in the morning and then a photo/video showing you all how I did on it later that day and if you want to do it too tag me in it so I can see! You can follow me on Instagram here. Let’s all encourage each other to focus on simplifying our lives, routines and homes! I’m hoping by the end of April, I will have a noticeable change in my mental and physical clutter and will be able to turn my full focus on enjoying life and going after those big goals!
If you didn’t catch my post yesterday on how we budget, be sure to check it out here & leave any of your favorite budget/money saving tips in the comments!
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
