It’s officially fall in The Peacock Roost!! I really don’t dislike any season but fall & winter are definitely my favorites! I’m always super happy to bring the decorations down from the attic. Okay, to have Jared bring them down for me 🙂 But I promise I help! Not to mention, I have plans of pulling EVERYTHING out of the attic when we get our Christmas decor down and getting rid of some things, reorganizing and labeling all of our containers. Things are decently organized but it could use some work. I want to get things sorted by category and make it easier to find what we need!
I’m working on finishing up the décor in several of our rooms. I always have a pretty specific eye for what I want but sometimes I wish I had someone like the designers at Havenly to come give me a second opinion! You can visit their site here to find a designer in your area.
Our fall fireplace! I love how this turned out. I purchased the garland from Hobby Lobby, you can find it here!
I made the basket a little DIY project. I couldn’t find a crate that I liked so I bought a natural wood one and stained it dark, added a plaid blanket and a few faux pumpkins and ta-da! The fireplace logs are a recent addition. After 3 years of staring at whole, we finally filled it and it makes our living room feel finally complete!
I also found the wood pallet pumpkin at Hobby Lobby here.
I love our football pumpkin (a few years old from Hobby Lobby)! Also, I’m thinking about either reorganizing or redoing our shelves on either side of the fireplace. I loved them but I think it’s time for a refresh!
A little pumpkin on the coffee table! I found these in a 3 pack at T.J. Maxx last year and scattered them around the living room. Also, I need some good fall throw pillows. Have you all seen any anywhere?!
I love this tray on our bar in our kitchen! I switched out the candle to a fall scent, added this little pumpkin from the Target dollar bin last year, and created this DIY arrangement with some inserts from Hobby Lobby!
I found this sign in the dollar bins last year as well! I definitely want to update our kitchen decor next year.
I love that I now have the piano I grew up playing on! I added a few pieces to the top but need to add a few more things to complete it’s look for fall!
I found this rug at the end of the season last year!
That’s it for our fall home tour! I try to add a few new pieces each year to keep adding to our collection. This year, I’m going to look for deals at the end of the season on throw pillows, kitchen decor and decorations I can add to the bathrooms/bedrooms. Happy Fall!
